Woohoo the fitbas back. Cause for celebration.......mibbe.

Marky's first competitive game in charge and with raft of new players we have nae idea what to expect.

Let's hope for a big improvement on last season though. Tuesday night looked promising but this game could have came a wee bit too quick for us. A **** of a fixture tbh.

Go for a 1-2 victory though cos it would be rude not to.

Started the game well. Good tempo and pressing hibs high up the park. Then we just stopped pressing and stepped off them and let them play. Their goal is testiment to that. As soon as he picked it up the shot was always coming. Took it well though.

Rode our luck at times. Giving the ball away far too much in the midfield. McKay is having a Regi and Temps isne much better.

A peach of a free kick from Tavernier who has looked good. Second goal came from the first time we got in behind them. Waghorn has looked isolated up front and struggles to make the ball stick. Good to see him get a goal though.

Been a decent game so far.

Collum has to make at least one major **** of it in every match he refs. Shocking penalty award to Hibs.

    Halliday scores a peach

That was excellent considering some of the players have only been in the door for about two minutes. It will be interesting to see what happens once the team totally gel and the new recruits settle in. For me Tavernier looked impressive as did Halliday and Waghorn. I thought Foderingham looks a wee bit erratic though. It was nice to see wee McKay back at the club. Good to see Kenny bang in a couple too.

Warburton brought Fordingham in because he was supposed to be good with the ball at his feet. Didne see much evidence of that today. The keeper looked terrified when the ball came to him and had a couple of kick outs that put us under pressure.

In saying that he did have a couple of cracking passes into the midfield and the fact the players kept passing the ball back to him would suggest they have confidence in his ability.

Apart from those dodgy kick outs he looked alright. Didn't have a chance with Hibs first goal as the players playing in front of him did nothing to stop the Hibs player having a dig.

Give him a chance to settle before we pass judgement.
