https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...sborough-justice-campaigner-dies-aged-83.html What a poor woman to lose two sons in awful circumstances.
Awful to lose them in separate incidents like that. It must make you feel that someone has it in for you, no matter how rational you are. Reading stuff like this re-ignites my anger towards those people who, to this day, still try to blame the victims for their own fates.
The Anfield Wrap has done a video on YouTube about that meeting in the French Senate that that Twitter clip shows part of. One of the lads I think said he was actually present because it's an enquiry with members from the media invited to give evidence. He said that those two, Damarin (spl) and the Interior Minister were in the minority with their views as everyone, including most of their own senators, pilloried them for their outright, malicious lies. They said that thankfully the world press has mountains of video evidence to disprove everything they are trying to peddle. They also said that it's very likely that both will lose their jobs. Utter disgrace using Hillsborough. They should be ashamed of themselves.
really we should be going to uefa looking for sanctions against france holding any international or uefa competitions for 10 years or something. the live pictures from above the stadium proved there was no 30k "fans" with fake tickets anywhere. these peoepl should be pressurise dout of jobs. My view is join Real madrid in getting hefty FFP sanctions on PSG. play poltics with these clowns then get on UEFA's case that if this is the level they are at then super league could remerge unless they take action on france and sanction them for lies. if one side can lie and stoop that low over incompetence and basically fascist actions then the other can.

FA concerned over rise in 'abhorrent chants' about Hillsborough tragedy - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/63490856
Does "viewing with concern" translate into any action whatsoever ever. For example a club is found to have away fans at it at anfield, or home fans at it. Instantly slash away fan allocation by half for 5 games. Simple solution hitting them directly that can be enforced by offending club including a email or letter to the entire lot of fans affected, including statement that next time is 100% fan exclusion. The only group that will police this is fans themselves. If 90% stand by and let it happen or cover their mates then they are complicit really. Gove them consequences and peer pressure will sort it. The reality is unless actual consequences are given for racial, homphoboc, tragedy abuse then it will increase. Simple as. If someone of ours sings about Munich or whatever then thry should be life banned but the clubs simply don't weed them out. People talk cctv and all that but in reality it doesn't happen. Hit the whole lot and let them self police.
