https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/46002170 Hoddle lost his job as the England Coach for making the following comments re handicapped people. " You and I have been physically given two hands and two legs and half decent brains. Some people have not been born like that for a reason. The karma is working from another lifetime. I.e. people are paying for their sins in a previous lifetime ". He subsequently apologised for his words, but the damage was done. As someone who worked with, and got to know, many hundreds of handicapped people in South Wales, via volunteering and employment, I can attest to the rank stupidity, and lunacy of this moronic bible punching idiot. Perhaps karma has now caught up with him. He was a great footballer, but a complete waste of time as a human being. Having said that, I wish him a speedy recovery.
Anyone with a "half decent brain" working in the public eye wouldn't have said it whether they believe it or not. I also wish him no ill despite saying moronic things.
He may be eccentric but it is yourself that has the choice to listen to him or not.....One thing nobody can deny is his skill as a footballer which at his peak was 2nd to none......I wish him well in his recovery.....
No - here is the Monaco team that day: Starting line-up: Jean-Luc Ettori Luc Sonor John Sivebaek Roger Mendy Rui Barros Claude Puel Emmanuel Petit Gerald Passi Marcel Dib Christophe Robert George Weah Substitutions: Jerome Gnako for Rui Barros 76' Youri Djorkaeff for Christophe Robert 76' Goalscorers: Gerald Passi 8 (pen) Rui Barros 27 Manager: Arsene Wenger The ref was Kim Milton Neilsen - best remembered for sending off David Beckham for kicking Diego Simeone in the 1998 World Cup match between England and Argentina. The England Manager was Glenn Hoddle....
No sympathy for Hoddle being removed, such reasoning is flawed, and he deserves all he gets the numpty!...............
Bloody hell - took me back watching those highlights. As an aside, I’d forgotten the European Profiles advert that dominated behind the goal at the Mumbles end where the old Double Decker used to be.
