As regards holidays, there's a Disney cruise my wife wanted to book that doesn't really go anywhere - leaves liverpool goes around for a few days without stopping off anywhere and then returns to Liverpool. Turns out we can't go as I'm unlikely to have been fully vaccinated by the end of July... pffft.
It's great up at Bamburgh, Jim, that castle is something else. We are 65 miles away between Haydon Bridge and Hexham, we like to take the hound for a walk in the countryside on a morning followed by bbq with friends in the afternoon. This nearly every weekend. Love it.
Well it's not exactly my idea of fun either but my 4, 8 and 9 year olds would have loved it after having spent most of a year and a bit sat in the house
Ah didn't know you had kids, be good for them like after all this bollox. I know a couple going without kids and that certainly wouldn't be my cup of tea
Love Bamburgh, get up there a few times a year just for the day. Beach is lovely. The whole Northumberland coast is really. Go to Druridge Bay about once a month, but also love going to Embleton Bay and also the walk from Craster to Dunstanburgh Castle. The pub in Craster the Jolly Fisherman is class, get a crab sarnie from there they're class
A round of golf tomorrow (4th game in the past week), shot 74 on thursday. Getting back into the swing of things...literally.
