According to a poster on WATRB ...

''Holloway wants a break away from the game after the death of his mother, plus Tony and co. want a fresh start from next season so will be a mutual departure announced shortly after the Leeds game. McLaren will take charge and has already been having behind the scenes discussions with Ferdinand mainly about transfer targets for this summer.''

Has a ring of truth about it. There's definitely some kind of change afoot.

    An interesting situation.

Would Ollie take a break or would it be rather pernanent?

    Any thoughts?

Just been reading all the rumours. McClaren seems to have a good record as a Coach but not so good as Manager, and he moves from one job to another a lot. Not sure he'd be with us long if he came. Holloway is QPR, I'd prefer we stick with him. Overall he's done a good job this season, and we have some good young players making the grade. Holloway just needs a holiday probably, like everyone else.

I’m waiting to see what Ellers and DT think before forming an opinion of my own. Or borrowing someone else’s.

Well, in my humble opinion i think, that McLaren is better manager than Hollloway. Thats why it would be good news to QPR and all us fans. With couple of sensible signings and our new rising young players we could be in position to play for promotion.

We cannot afford to pay Ollie off (for FFP reasons), and after this season why should we...he has produced everything asked off him. So the only possibility is that he will stand down. But again why should he? Ollie said that the team performance on Saturday, was everything his mother stood for. Giving everything, fighting for the club...going 100%.
So he is going to walk away from a job half done? I think not

Uncle Tone...actually said that at the end of each season they assess everything...including the manager.
I think a lot is being read into Uncle Tone reiterating this. I think WATRBs are blowing smoke

I am very impressed with McClaen as a coach. I don’t rate him a manager.

If long term he could be a coach along side Ollie as manager, plus Ramsey with the youth team, then it could be a dream team.

Currently I admit I don’t understand what are the driving forces behind this, should it be true.

TF did chuck out one of his cryptic tweets the other day, something along the lines of tough decisions needed over the summer I think.

There’s a lot of bullshit on watrb so I believe when I see it here it from official source, so we await after the Leeds match any news as I don’t think anything will happen till then & also disrespectful to Holloway, as regards stevieee I would welcome him but will see.

McLaren has been spending time at the training ground lately, was good when at the club before. His managerial record isn't great after Boro, but he's a good coach and could be helpful if Ollie needs some time out.

I suspect the hard decisions we have to make in the summer will be having to sell a player we actually do not want to.. ( Freeman or Luongo)..

    Not Ollie leaving ..

I’m adopting this position too... rather that borrowing someone else’s.

Hiring McLaren would seem to go against everything we've done over the past couple of seasons.
We have been all about restraint, yet McLaren, like Harry, were quite the opposite in approach.

Just doesn't seen like a correct match up. A bit like trying to put square pegs into round holes.
    I'll pass thanks.

Both together could work. Ollie's man management and Maclaren's coaching.
