    Thanks!

Well its a wahs out today but supposed to be dry tomorrow for quali and rain on race day again.

This is a complete and utter toss up at this point. No team got a lap on dry tyres so far.

Worth finding the clip of Latifi getting lost then trying to blame the car, very funny.

That's 100% a grid place penalty for verstappen.

Really close quali at the end.

Very good session for most drivers

    That was horrendously dangerous.

The difference detween Schumacher and gasly earlier and that is stark

    Lol

How long ago was that. That had to take a significant payment to make go away.

Well done to find this again.I can remember it happening at the time I can``t recall which track it was,but ,it would have been 2018 as that was the year that Sirotkin was in a Williams. But , I thought it might have been investigated then forgot all about it,so thanks for that to remind me.

Ha - I wondered as I posted if that was going to be interpreted both ways! To be clear I am on the no penalty side. Penalties, should require intent, clear blame and or to compensate for some loss suffered/advantage incurred. I’d argue non of those apply here.

Interesting to hear the love-in between Seb and Sazuka, today. First time for years I’ve felt he’s still passionate about F1.

And gross negligence or being a bumbling idiot doesn't deserve a penalty?

How a thing causes a crash the outcome can still be the same.

We have a case here that a gobshite is weaving in the worse possible corner to weave in for tyre warming and frlorces a car at high speed off the track.

    That's a penalty.

As I said Schumacher was giving gasly the hurry on out of pits then is stopped 10 seconds later weaving about and gasly makes a big deal out of it yet he just has to tap his brakes.

Clearly a different, lower speed "incident"

Let's be clear, he's put at best dirt on norris tyres and disadvantaged him. It's luck norris hasn't had a big one

    I assume Max wasn't given a penalty?
From the onboard it looked like he was looking into his left mirror and then turned left and stamped on the throttle forcing Lando to take avoiding action.
With all the data the stewards have they will know exactly what Max did with steering wheel and the throttle.
Much as I don't like Max I can't see what he would have been aiming to achieve other than warming tyres. If it was something else then why against Lando, it's not like he is in the championship fight.
Can't see there was any intent to do anything against Lando.

Apparently mclaren and norris "withdrew" their accusation so I can only conclude a nod and wink and favour has been promised to make them do so.

I wouldntnread too much into deliberate nature of anything but it's just plain dangerous. That 130r, one of the fastest corners in f1 for flat out tearing on through.
Love that corner but to be forced to take avoiding action off the track is crazy, that then does not get a penalty?

To be fair Lando wasn't on a hot lap and wasn't on the racing line.

That is fair, if it were a hot lap it had to have been a pen. It was still dangerous and not the place to be jinxing about ignoring cars behind.
