    Not sure, you're driving a hard bargain asking for £2 a pop. Think there'd be a decrease in footfall.

    Humberside Police has made 48 arrests, issued 78 dispersal notices & conducted 58 searches in the first week of Operation Ignition, which is aimed at tackling street drinking & drug dealing/taking in #Hull city centre. @Humberbeat officers are visible in the area again today.

    Good.
    Those numbers show what a problem there is.
    Begs the questions, why the hell have they not acted before now, and, what about elsewhere?
    As someone commented, only a good thing if it's continued (indefinitely).

    This is just an observation of mine but I have detected a distinct change in the presentation of Look North, which, at one time covered East Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire, both in news content and the weather. But this morning I noticed that the Wessies are now included, in fact just about the whole of Yorkshire with news from Sheffield, Leeds etc. Even the weather chart encompasses these areas, now my reasoning is that there is some rationalisation going on in the BBC and if this is now a permanent move then why would thy want the Hull studio? They have a big set up in Leeds and it wouldn't take much to move Peter Levy/Paul Hudson etc, to their Leeds set up, if they need them that is. My point is that I can see the Hull studio closing, maybe a few redundancies as well, including the high profile presenters. Just an observation on my part I have no prior knowledge and no 'inside' whispers.

    Is this the same force that told the people of Hull that there wasn't an anti-social behaviour problem in Hull city centre and surrounding areas.
