Just finished watching the full match replay, terrific effort. I thought Toral put in a real shift and was at the heart of a lot of our creative moves in the first half. McGregor was fantastic in the first half coming out when needed and very confidently claiming the ball which was good to see. Hector still seemed to have a few mistakes in his locker - a few sliced clearances or misstimed passes which against a better team might have been punished more than Birmingham let us get away with. Clark was solid and efficient which is all you can ask for, pleasing to see. I thought Meyler was very tidy in midfield and it was good to see him slot another penalty, as we need a player who can consistently take those and put them away after Larsson's effort. Bowen and Grosicki terrorised on the wings which was great to see, and those criticising Grosicki have to now admit that the impact with him in the team outweighs any negative energy. As I said on my podcast during the week, if the players were impacted negatively by him that's a different story, but as long as he puts in for the team that's all you can ask for and he was terrific with some of his runs. Great to see Campbell on the scoresheet again!
I almost completely agree with that, particularly about Toral I'm yet to be convinced on Grosicki. He played well in attack, which he needs to do consistently, still showed a complete lack of interest when they had the ball and was amazingly sulky when Meyler, quite rightly, wouldn't let him take the penalty. I'm happy for him to prove me wrong and be so good that other clubs come in to try and buy him
So we still don't know what it means, Meylers signage. The level of coolness on this board is plummeting ffs
Judging by the birthday requests (self promoted) and ancient memories of thrashings we have dished out, most on here seem to be well over 50, hence knowing SFA about yoof culture.
Not sure if I'm missing something having only read the last page or so but someone on Twitter 'challenged' him to sign a hashtag when he next scores.
I find it hard to understand Birmingham beat Sheffield Wednesday. Birmingham are the worst side I have seen for quite a few years. They were absolutely gash.
I'm sure Derby fans would say exactly the same about us, all teams have games where nothing seem to go their way.
