I disagree, he was ok and that surrounded by players at the top of their game. He did some things wrong and some right. But its about opinions isn't it?
I think askew glp gets pissed off as we always want a boo boy. It's seems Meylers off the hook for the moment and so it's dio. I mean with that **** thread yesterday too. Look at what he did do rather than what he can't. If Abel is fit he doesn't play, simple as. But he's come in for. His first Full game in ages. He's a work in progress and he'll get better the more he plays down the middle
I'm quite happy not to have a target for booing, and have always been a Meyler fan. I just think Dio's brainless and a bit comical as a footballer. He played ok yesterday, certainly not absolutely excellent!
Really? He was ONE of our key players that was Involved in or assisted in scoring 3 of the 4 goals. His game couldn't have been more influential. You're right it's about opinions, but some opinions are so full of absolute ****.
I think he needs to be judged after he's had a few starts. I like his attitude and I'd like him to succeed but he needs to be good enough. Working hard and knowing your limitations is very laudable but it may not be enough. When I played years ago I worked hard, turned up every week and knew my limitations, the main one being that I was crap.
Huddlestone getting some stick on social media from the Derby fans today. On another matter Clough apparently said in his after match presser today that Irvine is in talks with City.
Though we haven't had all those strikers injured in all the games we've played. Larsson is looking a good purchase and Bowen is on fire, but we do need options up front still.
I don't think there's any headache, Larsson keeps in on this performance. Meyler was good at times, and not so good at others. Stewart hopefully will get fit and provide good competition.
Please let me borrow your rose tinted glasses for next game. I remember you got similarly upset a couple of months ago when I dared to suggest Ehab was not making a serious attempt to get back up. Admire your positivity but respect others opinions even if you think they are 'so full of absolute ****e'. Have you noticed not many on here believe he is the answer? But I respect your opinion and admire your loyalty. We wont change each others minds re Dio, so aren't going to waste any more energy and actually GLP, I would love to see him prove me wrong, and certainly wouldn't have a problem admitting it on here.
I don't think he quoted City. Just said he was in talks with 'a club' still officially a Burton player.
Clough didn't but his assistant did before the game. "That's it really. He's gone up there and spoken to another club. "I don't know if that deal has been finalised or not, I'm not too sure, but that's the reason." Asked if that club was Hull, Garner replied: "Yes." http://www.burtonmail.co.uk/sport/f...urton-albion-midfielder-jackson-irvine-385675
Fair enough. The interview with Clough after the match he wouldn't confirm the identity of the club. Wouldn't be surprised if there's more than 1 interested as he seemed quite decent.
