Safe journey and can we assume that your better half has perked up since last week?

I was set to come on a one day trip tomorrow but the trains are in chaos up here and East Coast trains are off due to high winds between Edinburgh and Newcastle.

Hopefully a good result for the journey home will make the trip worthwhile for you:emoticon-0148-yes:

Was one game at BP in the early 90s. Think it was Fulham in Div 3 or 4.

Snow was lying 15 mins in and through the blizzard, all you could see of the opposition was a pair of red shorts dancing around.

All the first half we were chanting for an orange ball. The ground staff cleared the lines at half time but same story second half 'til with 20 mins to go they chucked on an orange ball to rapturous applause.

Cant remember the score, but that tin of heinz chicken soup and cooplands bun me mam had ready for me walking through the door was like the sweetest nectar from the god of all gods.

Thats why mums are ****ing ace.

Just well enough to be left for a few hours. Our daughter is coming round later and will stay the night.
To be honest, as long as I can get to “Hull and back” I will be happy.

I went to that. We were getting humped 3 or 4 nil so me and my mate sacked it off and went and sat on the coach for the last 20 minutes.

Almost total whiteout on the journey back to to Darleys.

Remember going to Boro a few seasons ago - went in the Australian Bar in town before the game - whilst we were in there it started to snow and soon turned to a blizzard - at least the match was played even though snow was all over the pitch

I was there. Didn’t know we had scored until the players were celebrating as it was so difficult to see the opposite end at times.

Recall it well. Peering through the icey mist. Delroy Facey scored late on, their fan(s) went ballistic, claiming offside. I uncurled myself from the terrace. Brushed the snow and ice off. Got onto the coach, pronto, and thawed out. The feeling came back to my feet and hands around Leicester.

Horrible team with horrible supporters .. they'll come and play their usual bullying style, need to stand up to the test, not sure who will be available, but the current 352 formation has to be given another go, gives us more bodies in the engine room and allows our midfield and defence not to be overrun. Head says scrappy defeat, heart hopes to get another win.

They call it “The Lab” at the hospital I go to.

I have a history of doing subconscious daft thongs when coming round from general anaesthesia.

Sitting up & waving to everyone
    Miming putting on lipstick
    Giving the middle finger
Having a piss but insisting I do it all myself.

No recollection of any of it.

I’m the same when pissed, think that’s the real reason they’ve said no boozing.

    ****ing weirdo

The Chelsea game that year was eventually played acouple of months later . I seem to recall it the first match after John Terry had been outed as a rat who had been having a bit extra with Wayne Bridge's wife and our crowd reminded him . Mouyocolo scored for us in a one each encounter.
