Which is fine by me , we aren't good or strong enough for promotion but if the Club thinks Coopers the man to take the Club forward then they're wrong and his appointment and keeping him has and will knock us back years
Cooper: "The four goals we have conceded are unacceptable. They were all of the same type - balls coming into the box. "We are giving our all but when you go on the pitch it's got to be more than that. We know it's in our hands so we have only got ourselves to blame. "There's a problem putting a complete performance together at the moment. "We have had to work hard for our goals and they haven't. That's the massive frustration."
Woodman used to have Rodon & V.d Horn in front of him, now he's got a couple of rookies who really don't seem to know what they're doing, I imagine it's badly knocked his confidence. The only reason Guehi is still playing at this point must probably due to promised minutes to Chelsea. Full extended highlights HERE
Fair play to clueless all their goals came from crosses in to the box. He’s good. So he plays an 18 year old loanee from Chelsea who had poor games against both Derby and QPR and would probably needed a rest as he would say. The introduction of Garrick and Dhanda gave us the pace and hunger that was lacking.earlier although Routs had played well. We scored 4 good goals shock horror and should have come home with the three points. A long journey on any Saturday but seemed worse on a Friday. Cooper out please.
Personally, I’m finding it difficult to blame Woodman personally for any of the goals. That said, he doesn’t currently inspire me with much confidence but, as azzuri says, look what’s in front of him....
He and the core of the team have had the confidence “coached” out of them , compare Woodman performances at the start of the season till now , he’s a different player there’s no continuity in his defence and that will have an affect on his decision making , we can all see what’s happening but does Cooper and if so is it too late for him to change
In terms of Woodman, I think we are seeing why Newcastle were happy to send him out on loan. Whilst he's OK as a keeper I never really got why people have been raving about him in the first place. Guehi is just a waste of a loan. He's not what was missing in the squad anyway. He looks slow as well. Don't see what he brings to the team.
I thought watching Woodsman at the start of the season that he was confident in his decsion making, good with the ball at his feet, good distribution and willing to get hurt, now he's a shell of that player . We didn't need another CB but a DM so imo Guehi is preventing the likes of Cabango developing who is way ahead of his development in comparsion to Guehi and he's ours.
I've watched Benda with the U23's and he seems a decent prospect but he is playing league 2 football atm
Consultant we use big Swindon fan and knows his football, rates him very highly. I’ll get the low down on his performances earlier next month with our quarterly audit.
Just watched the highlights and the defending is absolutely shocking. Is Guehi a player or a cardboard cut out?
Think Lampard told him to come to Swansea to look and learn .... should have told him to play and defend
