Change of formation called for Terry please.
Going on what I’m hoping will be fit,
    3-5-2
    Long
    Pennington de wijs McLoughlin
    Lopes. Elder
    Irvine batty
    Maddison

    McGinnis Eaves

free role for Maddison picking up knock downs from two up top.
If Jordy or penno isn’t fit then McKenzie plays. Kingsley at left wing back and elder into the middle if we have to. got to try McGinnis and eaves together. McGinnis can run the channels.
Maddison looks like our only threat so we need him on the edge of that box and let him have a go.
Wliks May turn out to be a good signing but not this season. Attitude not the best either.
I don’t want to see Honeyman until the last ten minutes if at all.
It’s not gonna be pretty but we have to battle it out and scrap for everything.
Terrys getting the sack if we get hammered.
So roll call who’s going to support the lads on Friday night or are you just going to spend your night on here tutting and calling our lads ****???

Gutted to be missing the game as I am away with Mrs. Lincoln Tiger in Bronte Country, but f*** Valentine's Day, we'll be looking for a TV if it's on?

I'd be happy with that team, apart from I'd stick KLP in for Magennis, he's a natural finisher and offers something different to Eaves and Magennis, who are equally mediocre.

I'll be there. And all this talk of sacking McCann is hogwash. He only signed a 12 month rolling contract. It was as much a gamble for him as it was for us. We've faced tougher times then this.
Personally I hope we put up a decent performance on Friday not only for the points but to shut all those up who sit at home watching it on SKY hoping we get beat and laughing at the empty seats.

Thought Wilks was a reasonable threat last night, more than Maddison. His withdrawal perplexed me.

I thought the same - he looked a fair bit quicker and stronger than his first couple of games, he looked to have a bit of hunger about him.

I thought Maddison disappeared as the game went on. He did seem to pick up a knock from a foul though. Wilks looked overweight. He was better than I expected though.

Why hogwash? The players heads went down against Brentford and against these last night. We can’t afford to go down. I’ll support terry while he’s our manager but I’d sack him if I was in charge, I really would. I think his decisions have been strange over the season, and looks lost at time’s to me tactically. I hope he turns it round, but I think it will be more of the same on Friday. If it is and we get stuffed I can see him getting the chop.

During World War 2 in Swansea, an Australian took the mickey out of an American for not drinking alcohol, and it ended up in a fight. The American became a boxer after the war and became the world heavyweight champion known to all as Rocky Marciano.

The Gower Peninsula was designated the first Area of Outstanding Beauty in 1956.

The name Swansea is nothing to do with swans. It derives from Sweines ey (or Island) and is thought to be named after a Viking invader.

From the late 18th century until well into the Victorian era, Swansea was nicknamed 'Copperopolis' due to the huge volume of the material manufactured in the city.

In 1823 the first ever human fossil was discovered near Swansea in the Gower Peninsula. The Red Lady of Paviland (who is actually a man) dates back over 33,000 years

Vetch Field is was formerly a patch of land owned by Swansea Gaslight Company used for growing vegetables, hence the name.

In 1923 they became the first Welsh side to head overseas on tour and in 1961, they became the first Welsh club to play in Europe in the Cup Winners Cup.

Ossie Ardiles played his first game in the English leagues against Swansea, and was substituted after a typical Tommy Smith tackle nearly made it his last.

In 1991, Swansea played Monaco in the European Cup Winners Cup, which resulted in Monaco's manager Arsene Wenger making his first interview in English.

I sit at home watching it sometimes ( like last night and I will be Friday. I certainly don't laugh at either the performance or the empty seats. It's a crying shame what the Allams have done and far too grave to even think of laughing. We are awful, a team full of league one players at best.
