Now that Sunderland have been relegated it will be huge weight off their shoulders. They will be able to play with freedom and without fear and as a result they will beat Hull next week. But then the novelty will wear off after a week and by the time they play us the week after, they will be back to normal and we will beat them. (Wishful thinking?)
Massive pressure for Hull next game at home against Sunderland . With Palace and Spurs on the agenda after , Hull needs to beat Sunderland and they know it . Anything but a win for Hull against Sunderland and I think we stay up .
I see it that they will want to put on a show for their home match against you lot. As proved there are no guaranteed wins in the PL and playing without fear they could surprise you and us (Hull). As always TWT
We still have to beat Everton to have a chance of staying up, we lose and there will be no pressure on Hull on Sunday!
We're 4th in the form table and Everton are one of the teams above us. Just saying Oh and Marco Silva hasn't lost a home game in three years.
https://www.theguardian.com/football/2017/may/04/swansea-hull-39th-game-relegation-play-off This season, Hull City have beaten The Swans' twice in the head to heads, and knocked them out of the F.A. Cup. Having shown their superiority on three occasions, Hull should not have to participate in a play off. They should be allowed to retain their place at the expense of The Swans'.
To be fair one of Silva's biggest achievements at City is to get a relegation threatened club to play without fear. We will probably attack Sunderland in the same way we did Boro and I think that will be too much for them. On the other hand Swansea have a worrying task against Everton. The onus is on you to attack the same as it is with us, but the difference is Everton are a lot more dangerous than Sunderland and you could find yourselves trying to get back into a must win game with all the pressure that brings.
We had Manu on the ropes at Old Trafford, and had it not bean for a dodgy ref decision on a penalty that never was we would have won instead of drawing the game, I think we can manage Everton comfortably at home, we will win 2-1!.......
I thought you played well against Man U as we did against Southampton, but there's no way of calling games at this end of the season. I suppose what I'm saying is if Sunderland play well we still have a fair chance of a result, but if Everton play well you'll probably lose.
