Harrop not in the squad. Drinan an starting as lone striker, unfortunately can only see 1 outcome today
Unbelievable, you would think the first basic test after or even before buying a new player, is hello, a Covid test. Ah, this is ITFC!
Too many to still be in the team and enough to know that he's a liability. He panics every time his man gets past him. I don't know what the answer is at CB. I'm not convinced by Woolfenden unfortunately, Wilson has been out for a long time and we don't have a right back so we can move Chambers inside. I hope KVY gets back in the team soon but that doesn't mean I want Chambers at CB again. I don't think Lambert wants him there either.
So 0-0 at half time then. What to say about our performance, pretty easy I guess, it's the same we say every match. Inaccurate passing and no real threat amount to another 45 minutes of huff and puff with no end result. No strike force of worth and a CB who should move into rugby instead. You could be forgiven for thinking that this was a team of actors playing a football team in a movie instead of a team of professionals. We are just so poor at even the most basic of football skills. We're a bit like Goldilocks, passes are either too strong or too weak but never just right. On counter attacks we don't quite play the ball into space well enough to cause real problems. It rarely flows from back to front, players have to stop their run to pick up a ball that's played behind them instead of being able to take it in their stride or they have to bust a gut to try and reach a pass too far in front of them. It's horrible to watch every week, really makes you think what the hell they get up to at Playford Road during the week.
Well he's just too bloody wishy washy. Too relaxed in possession and not aggressive enough in the tackle, I can't see Woolfenden playing any higher than the Championship, if he's lucky.
