    This will always be true. Look at Man City and Liverpool, hardest working sides in the top flight last few years in terms of how they try to win the ball back. Compare that to Arsenal signing Ozil - nee good being brilliant on the ball if you cant react and graft when you lose it. More so now the game places emphasis on athletic ability.

    I have coached kids football for years and have always had that quote on display. I currently have a bunch of 16 year olds who since 11 have been clearly technically brilliant and capable of playing great football. They wouldnt work hard out of posession though so never fulfilled promise. I spent a full season at u14 setting them up to have to work really hard and really pushed them into it. They are now getting it and the rewards they are getting are great. They understand hard work gets results and makes your talent even more effective.

    I hope so. Deffo deserves a place on the bench. Still raw but a bit of a maverick.
