IMO Kelvin Thomas has done a fantastic job in the 4 years he's been Chairman and wish him all the best for the future. With Ian Lenagan taking over as Chairman he has a tough act to follow, good luck http://www.oufc.co.uk/page/News/0,,10342~2848396,00.html
Absolutely right Richmond, Kelvin has been superb. There was a clamour by a lot of the fans to appoint a well known 'name' as manager following Darren Patterson's departure, but Kelvin took his time and carried out a proper interviewing process resulting in my opinion the appointment of the best manager we have had for some time. We may find out in due course the reason behind Kelvin's resignation but I think we have lost a valuable asset today. One thing that stuck out for me was how Kelvin made himself available to the fans: being open to ideas and opinions. He was the only chairman of the club that I have ever met over many years of supporting Oxford United. Let's hope Ian Lenagan is as much of a football person as Kelvin.
