http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/boxing/27693529 He's beaten Martinez before so surely it's just a question of time?
You would think so. An easier route than Santa Cruz and an easier route than Quigg, but still a real test.
Hopefully he can do it but Martinez is tough. Apparently they are doing special buses from Dublin for this fight, might take a trip up if I can get a ticket.
I do think Frampton can do it again but it's no cake walk it's a good competitive division at the top
yeah same here, maybe late late stoppage for frampton bit disappointed boxnation aren't showing the matthyse broner card tonight, very strange decision
Is anyone carrying it round these parts? I'll not stay up and watch it anyway. I'll provably get up early and catch it on youtube before it's pulled.
nah it's not on sky sports either. buncey said something yesterday along the lines of "we dont have this card at the moment but you never know stranger things have happened" but i imagine they would have announced it by now. not fussed on broner anyway just wanted to watch matthyse frampton warming up outside his little cabin you not fancy going to watch this tonight?
Terrific showing. Martinez took some beating and stood up to him. I did think about going but it's 75 miles away and I was hoping to be in Dublin for a match tomorrow and when that didn't happen I decided against it....regret it now. Reminded me of Lacey and Calzaghe.
He was punch perfect the entire night, great performance. Think he'd destroy quigg who I don't rate to be fair.
Quigg still has one more hurdle to clear this weekend. Even if he does clear it, Frampton just looks utterly convinced and I think that's the difference between the two.
