So the Europy is on tonight and it's a damned tough opponent as I'm sure everyone will agree. Brugge are decimating the illustrious Belgian league and are clear favourites for the title. United will be looking to replicate another fine away performance after their win at Chelsea on Monday. Ighalo could make his first start for the club. Bailly put in a commanding performance on his return from injury so hopefully he'll be starting again. United should be too strong for Brugge so I'm going for a 2-2 draw Jokes aside I actually think tonight's game will be a good one to watch. Interesting facts: Manchester United remain undefeated in their last 10 Europy knockout matches. United have fielded 11 different teenage players in the competition this season. More than double that of any other side. Come on United!
Brugge giving us so much time and space on the ball. Sadly we've put out a pretty average line up - no intent. So it's all 5 mph walk in the park sprinkled with the occasional random long ball over the top.
1-0 to Brugge. That whole passage of play from Matic at their goal to them scoring at ours was comical as fck
Second half take off Matic and Lingard. Bring on Wan Bissaka, push Dalot further up the RW and bring on Ighalo as the main man up front. Lets have some fcking desire about this game.
FT 1-1 Highlight of the game was last 15 mins when Fernandes came on. Completely changed our performance. Had an immediate effect on the other players as well.
The punditry about Pereira before the game was both cringe and hilarious. RVP and **** Hargreaves desperately tried to skirt around the fact that he’s ****.
I was talking about the players ffs Anyway, there are still enough United supporters on this forum and I'm happy to drivel on if it keeps the place a bit lively.
Durrrr. LOL But you’re right. We need to get more involved. It feels like everyone has lost hope in the game.
Fernandes is quality and he has that aura about him that lifts the other players. That’s been a pleasant surprise as he doesn’t look or talk like a leader. Woodwood must be very excited about the profit he’s going to make out of him.
Superb performance - our best game in a very long time, I'm starting to feel confident for our future all of a sudden...............
Let's not knock tonight because it was a fantastic result... but it's too early to say it means anything long term, especially if we lose to Everton, City, Spuds in the next few games.
What a shocking season you are having!! Only winning 5-0 tonight. I fully expect your team to win the FA Cup, perhaps meeting City on the way, and now looking serious contenders for the EL.
