Notts County can confirm that the club has parted company with manager Paul Ince by mutual consent after a run of five successive defeats that left the club sitting just two points above the relegation zone in npower League 1. Ince took control at Meadow Lane in October, 2010, charged with the task of transforming Notts from mid-table strugglers to Play-Off challengers but a recent run of eight games without a goal from open play, culminating in the 2-0 home defeat to Oldham on Saturday, has seen the team drop to 19th in the table. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/12951734.stm This is absolute insanity from the Notts County board - none of the last FIVE managers have been given more than SIX MONTHS in the job. Going nowhere fast and spending a massive amount on managerial compensation. Truly stupid.
insanity was appointing an idiot to run the club in the first place, paul ince was without a doubt one big massive mistake!
