My Step Father is the only person I know (personally) who had absolutely no symptoms whatsoever and he's in his 70s.
Hows Canada faring in all of this ?according to the media possibly not so good I see the yanks are sending a couple of millions doses " although Canada's inoculation drive began 14 December, and the country has so far given just over 1.39 million doses. It currently stands at 20 in global rankings of doses per 100 people"
My wife is due to have her jab this afternoon at Margam but is unable to go due to a bad migraine. The number they have given us on the appointment letter is "Currently closed" So we are unable to inform them that she will not be attending. Very annoying as they are quick enough to complain if appoitntments are not kept but it seems do not man telephone lines on a Sunday. Then again people do not become ill on Saturdays and Sundays.
Take her tomorrow or Tuesday when the migraine has gone - they will accommodate her! I phoned that number a few weeks back - no answer on the weekends - it was engaged for ages and when it did finally ring, the voice said I was 18th in the queue ....
Thanks Taff Wife was worried because she was missing appointment but young lady we spoke to was kind, reassuring and polite.
Whoo hoo - get the jab on Sunday - and the second some time next year!!!!! ..................... not really - but the end of July anyway!
