Ipswich are third but have won two and lost three of there last five games.
we all know the faillings in defence and how that has cost us and our inability to hold on to a lead or kill of games.whilst town are prone to raise there game against better teams, unless we can do somthing about our defence i think we will do well to get a point from this game.the glimer of hope is we have started to score goals.

town make a biright start then we get a bit of a soft penalty which norburn scores the perfect start, town creat a few chances as Ipswich seeem a bit ponderous. an injury blow for Ipswich as Nolan goes off, Ipswich come close with a vital landell block millar did some good tracking back to nulify the follow up.
just a pity town did not capatalize on the early goal when Ipswich looked a bit wobbly would expect Ipswich to go up the gears in the second half.
but well done town 1-0 .
you expect the home team to go up a gear but they were not that great but you dont need to because our defence will always help the opposition, a cross and landell puts it in his own goal, then another groundhog day moment as burgoyne flaps at the ball and sends it straight to a very gratfull Ipswich player, you just cant make it up.

what grates is we had the perfect start we actually caused them some problems but failed yet again to kill of the game, ironically our defence had a better game until we go for the self destruct button and manage to throw away first the lead and then any points. we seem incapable of winning or holding onto a lead.
