    Good Morning Everyone

Leeds travel down to Ipswich on Saturday afternoon to play an out of sorts Ipswich side.

Mick McCarthy's men have had a torrid Christmas losing to Wolves, Derby, Fulham and the Blunts - saying that would Leeds fair any better against these teams?

Leeds will be without Saiz for 6 weeks following his spitting admission You'd expect Hernandez to fill his role.

It remains to be seen whether Laurens De Bock's transfer goes through in time for him to play on Saturday. The pacy left back looks certain to complete his paperwork although interestingly Hamberg have tabled a late 6m offer to try and lure the player in their direction.

This is the point that things start going wrong for Leeds. The New Year has rarely been kind to them. This is a game that could shape the rest of their season.

    Morning Elland and all....

I remember this game as being my target match where we might have had a new striker in place but instead we go into it minus Saiz and knowing we have probably 13 outfield players capable of playing okay football..

I’m really hoping the new LB is done and dusted, I’m slightly concerned that maybe we aren’t getting that striker the fans crave for, plenty of transfer window time I know but if you approach January you surely have your hit list ready?

Morning all I'm wondering if we do sign De Bock if Beradi might be tried in midfield as a ball winner, he has the aggression required.

Morning all. Our new Japanese signing stated yesterday he’s with us to help Leeds back to the pl. at the same time, going out on loan to next season. He obviously believes next season will be the promotion push so. Many on twitter asking last night does that mean there’s no point in going to any more games this season. Just saying. Don’t shoot the messenger

Morning all and as Elland says Ipswich are never a push over even though they have had a torrid time over Xmas? The teams who knocked Ipswich over are all teams at the top of the league, except Fulham but as we know Fulham can be a handfull. Any team with Big Mick in charge is never easy, but will be interesting to see the reaction from our lads after last weekend.

Hope the Belgium flyer deal goes through as we really need a better option at LB. I wouldnt worry too much about the Hamburg £6m offer as we know that the player agreed personal terms with Leeds late last week and even though he was in Spain at a training camp, he told the media he was coming to Leeds. hamburg seem to be trolling us as apparently we lost out on a striker who was going to come to Leeds for £3m but Hamburg came in for him with a £6m offer?

If Tommy isnt getting a new striker I want to see how he better utilises Lassoga as he is hardly in the game. Jack Clarke must be used before Grot because the big lump was useless against Newport. BUT WHY ARE WE TALKING ABOUT A 17YO KID FFS

Looks like Ayling could be out for the rest of the season after surgery on his ankle. :(

If we change either of O’Kane, Vieira or Phillips, I’d like to see Anita played there. I know Berardi stood out at CB the other day but it was only Newport, previously to that he wasn’t as good as Ayling at RB.

I can’t see the new guy going straight in, he has been at a winter training camp so I’d imagine he needs a couple of cameo appearances.

Edit... just seen the post regarding Ayling surgery, damn that’s not good news combined with Saiz being out...

Good Morning to Matt and co froma cool BARDSEY
Really bad luck to lose Ayling for the rest of the season so Beradi will simply play right back with Le Banc at LB I believe he will sign today as terms have already been agreed the Hamburg offer has come too late similarly to Real Madrids offer for Courtinho

Confirmed. Ayling out for the rest of the season. The good news is that it is Berardi's natural position

Didn’t you say this was a done deal yesterday morning.
Wrong again... From what I hear Hamburg are trying to land him.
Once again we might have been used by an agent to lure out better offers.

Going to this one on Saturday was quite optimistic before last weekend just looking forward to the day out with my youngest son and if we get anything from the game it's a bonus. As poor as Ipswich have been since Christmas you can guarantee we will make up look like world beaters. Again loads of huff and puff no quality Ipswich to win by 2 or more sorry not pessimistic just realistic.

I've thought this out loud on here before. And I thought the same for Bellusci. Must have been a good while ago, as I now question whether he has the legs for a DM role.
