A couple of weeks ago Villa were rubbish and Bruce was getting sacked.

Boro have spent £50m and are below us.

It's a 46 game season, a real marathon and it's about where you finish. We were comfortably in the top 6 under Grayson and Monk, and ended up dropping out at the end of the season.

Fulham have been in the bottom half all season and have suddenly started creeping up, same as they did last season.

@LUFC @andrearadri Get rid of Victor Orta and let the manager choose the players that he wants, Orta is bloody useless. Most players bar Saiz are not game changers, we won't go up with him choosing the players that we sign. Orta..... Go!!!

 

Unless I'm very much mistaken and we are either 1st, 2nd or 3rd I'm fairly certain Villa may be above us.

Why don't you look it up yourself? I have. I know the answer. And you might be surprised if you did too, instead of using a broad brush guess.

You might also recall that we got a load on the cheap when Portsmouth got relegated, so the prices we paid didn't truly reflect their value at the time.

And sadly, whilst most on that list failed by any standards, many of them actually DID improve us. That's how bad we were. So don't give me this 'make a difference' nonsense now. That's not what you said. We were talking about PROVEN Championship or PL players. They all qualified under that definition. Sadly. Journeymen qualify under that definition.

 

I'm on the fence

 

The problem is you get people on forums who just want people to agree with them and they just attack you and cry to the mods if they don't agree with your opinion. They may be a minority but they make a lot of noise and if you have a weak mod they will just bow to their pressure for an easy life.

It's been 6 years since Grayson was sacked here, he's been in almost continuous employment since and has shown nothing to suggest he has anything like what it takes to get a team up. It wasn't new players we needed from Bates, it was a new manager. Think about the players we had.

Christiansen hasn't been perfect, but you could question any manager. Grayson and McDermott's tactics and team selections were downright bizarre.

 

And yet you want us to buy a 12 million pound player who can't score,we need players who could play in the premier league,we already have 2 other strikers who probably can't,last thing we need is another.

The season isn't over till May.

 

Not bothered enough to be looking it all up just remember who they were and that they weren't regular starters or influential enough to be kept on by their team

Our fans always need someone to blame.

If there isn't an obvious target like Ridsdale, Bates or Cellino then they'll go looking for one.

When we had a bad run under O'Leary it was Brian Kidd's fault.

GFH were initially popular for getting rid of Bates, so then it was Warnock's fault, before they turned on them because it couldn't possibly be nice guy Brian's fault.

We're still on course for promotion, we're still making progress, why can't everyone just hold their nerve and asses things in the summer?

You can't have it all ways, if you have faith in the owner then you have to have faith in his way of doing things unless it becomes obvious that we're going nowhere.
