Sunderland, a big club that appears to have had a heavier and more dramatic fall than ourselves, are slowly picking themselves off the canvass. Emboldened by new manager, Lee Johnson - of Bristol City fame - they have only one defeat in their last nine games. Despite still very much looking like a club in transition, we have not managed to beat Sunderland while we have both been in the third division. I personally do not have much hope for this match and wouldn't be at all surprised to see us lose once again. I'd take a draw - given our awful record against any half-decent, top eight club in this division. And this is on Sky, where we have a habit of defecating in the bed on national TV. I'll predict a disappointing 2-0 defeat.
I would not worry we are pretty average. Think most of our fans are expecting a draw at best tonight Are Norwood and Jackson expected to miss this game?
We're long overdue a heavy defeat, this feels like it could be the game. 0-4 Sunderland. 2 goals each half. Thomas gets injured.
You could be pretty naff and you'd still be able to beat us Second-guessing Lambert's starting line-up is a difficult thing to do, but I'd expect at least one of them to be starting tonight. Hopefully both as a centre-forward pairing.
Lambert will go bold and play a 5-4-1 formation, naming himself in the starting line up (seeing as he tells us he's played for huge clubs), where himself and the mighty Drinnan will score a brace each, with Judge getting all 4 assists
Can anyone on here think of any club that might be better in ending a clubs bad run?? Let me have a long think about that......1 does spring to mind
We recently just broke Plymouths all season run of not winning away all season and before that Wigans run of not winning in about 15 We are world class at it. Step up Ipswich your time has come
No fecking Judge bigal, hurrah!!! Town will win tonight!! Not a drop has passed my lips, I promise you!! Just have a feeling, get out of jail win for Lambert.
