I have read that Taylor has a release clause of £300k in his contract which is disappointing.

 

Surely he would of been gone by now if that's the case but if true who the he'll put that in his contact

What do you reckon is a fair transfer price for Taylor if that information is incorrect and how much would we have to top it up with for a replacement of similar quality.
Carlisle have reputedly turned down £800'000 for Wycke whose total this season is about the same as Taylor's I believe
Just googled Charlie Wycke and he has scored 16 goals in all competitions supposedly has a release clause of £400'000

 

My figure in my head will be probably way to high compared to what some others may say but im basing £2 million minimum as my figure on the following...
Length of contract left
Goals scored in last 2.5 seasons
Has made the step up in every level with us
How silly money is these days for player transfers (£15 million for Kodja in the summer for example)
We are no longer broke so we dont have to sell any player unless a totally ridiculous offer comes in and £2 million minimum would make me be interested in a deal. Anything less then I wouldnt even bother to entertain a deal.

 

I think it's time release clauses were banned in contracts Carlisle's top score is moving on for a reported £250000 because of his release clause.

I was rather hoping to be reading about new players coming in not our leading scorer going across the city
