I have it on good authority that we wont be signing anyone. Im more pissed off with this than Taylor going. My source is Keith Brookman via text. He said very doubtful that any deals will be done in time.
Steve Hamer just now on Radio Bristol: "As things stand, Rovers not likely to sign anybody before the 11pm transfer deadline."
They obviously don't want to take the club forward to quickly, Northampton supporters were complaining that their manager at the beginning of the season said that this would be a season of consolidation whereas ours said we were looking to make the playoffs it was a good dream while it lasted. it will be interesting to see if the attendances are affected by the lack of new players we now have three strikers one who at the moment cant hit the side of a barn one who blows hot and cold and one who has probably not played the equivalent of three complete matches since the start of the season It could be a long season looking at some of the teams we have to play and the players some of them have signed
Lawrence has left the club. Contract terminated by mutual consent so he is now free to find another club and has left the building. What a waste of money and costed us money in the treatment room too!
So far. I read last night on another forum that McChrystal has joined Notts County. The person reported this also said Lawrence has been released by mutual consent. He was right about Lawrence so may be right about McChrystal. But nothing from County or Rovers. Then again there is still nothin from Rovers about Lawrence yet either.
Rovers have signed Robert Harris L/B who has been on trial and is without a club until he signed for us
To be honest, I didnt even think to look in this thread because where we knew there was going to be an announcement today and a thread was made about it, I just went straight to that thread to enter the new signing! Sorry again my friend
I wrongly assumed that the Matty Taylor appeal / complaint was the news so I didn't look at other thread
Just googled unattached players Ex Liverpool striker Nathan Eccleston available Diego Poyet ex West Ham both players in their late 20s
Heard a rumour on Saturday that if Easter plays 1 more game for us he has got to be offered a new contract
