I'd rather break my ankle than tear the ligaments. Ligaments are more likely to cause problems for months if not years after. Get yourself to a physio as soon as you can
Just remember that you're disabled, marra and one wrong move could have you in a wheelchair for life or worse. Just sit back on the couch and have the Mrs bring you beer and the like. If you're worried that the kids may not get as much exercise with your disability then simply take the batteries out of the remote control and get them to manually change the channel on the TV for you, 4-5 times and hour should keep their steps up. Remember to try lots of beer as it's important in this day and age not justto trust the medico's but to research alternative therapies
