I think it might have been Don. It's good of you to say I was honest and reasonable. I have the feeling that sometimes I got pretty venomous and histrionic. Not with personal attacks on other members maybe, but by posting some ugly stuff about my low opinion of the EU as an institution. Anyway, it's past now. I wasn't caretaking here in those days, I was simply a gung-ho Leave cheerleader. And I thought those were strange days! The Pandemic has opened my eyes to what really strange days are.
I think you've forgotten the level to which the Brexit debate sank, and the personal insults and tribalism. My two brothers-in-law fell out over it 16 months ago and their relationship hasn't really recovered. Your posts never crossed that line.
I haven't ventured there for weeks now. The thread telling our beloved owner to grow a pair did it for me, especially when Ol' Reamsy put it back on. I know there are several good posters there, and good luck to them, but I won't be going back.
Just a word about Inkblot (Doug) I hope he won't mind me mentioning this... He is very poorly now, and the medical treatment he's getting isn't going so well. I'm sure they're caring for him as best they can, but he's not in a good way. He has had little access to the internet too recently, which is why he hasn't participated much on ITTV or other forums. I'm sure we all wish him the best, and hope that he can be comfortable and be with us for a long time to come.
Passions are running high at the moment. Most of us are deflated by tonight's performance and result. It almost certainly means another whole season in League One. Not surprising that some steam is being let off
Not quite Adkins out just a bit of lively opinions- Reams has just called for calmness which is a good thing imo
