As a Wycombe fan, can someone enlighten me on what's going on with this guy. Why has he gone to Torquay on loan when he was one of your top scorers, then allowed to play against you?

We've wondered that too. He did brilliantly at Brighton and flagged and did the same for us. The trouble is he's out of contract in summer, says he wants to stay with us and didn't expect to go out on loan. We'd happily have him sign with us again, just need to also sign the players providing him the the ball too!!!

our manager graham turner made one of the daftest decisions of his long career by shipping jake robinson to torquay, an even bigger howler by gt was to allow him to play against us. the gulls are were they are because of his goals. expect competition to sign robbo on contract between gulls, shrews amongst many others. aj

He seems to do well, initially, wherever he goes. Started last season well as he did this, but expect the fade to come at Torquay soon.
BTW, the loan condition was not down to GT, it was an admin mistake by a newly appointed member of staff. Rather that mistake than the one of Torquay where he played inelligibly.

Robbo divides opinion. Between August - October and March - May the lad will catch the eye particularly when the going is firm. However soon as the weather turns and the going gets heavy he will shirk a battle. Not a player for the trenches unfortunately, therefore not a player to have when seeking promotion. May do well on the Riviera in the short term. Absolute schoolboy error to allow him to play against us though!!
