Once again he speaks of players returning from injury. He believes the saying,”it’ll be like having a new signing,” will be the equivalent to a fully fit new signing!

we don't sign fully fit new signings - they've usually got something wrong with them - its like going into an antique shop and saving money by buying something with a crack and a chip

We just need to remember that there is no magic points target. We just need to finish 21st.

It doesn't matter if we go down once or 3 yrs in a row....a relegation clause is a relegation clause, if we go down again this season then so will the players wages who have said clauses.

How exactly do you think a relegation clause is worded on a legal document such as an employment contract? Do you think it simply says “if we get relegated, your salary is cut by 50%’?

That relegation clause will only apply to relegation from the Premier League.

lol I was wondering that myself, in terms of how it would account for more than one relegation. I just don't think that's the case personally. Prem to Chump yes, but beyond that?

That was my point... the wording will have to be so specific regarding a formal cut in salary. One clause 100% will not cover every time we are relegated, despite Howden’s claim. I don’t know what their normal posts are like but this is stunning!

The chances of Ehab thinking ahead and including a second or third clause for subsequent relegations are so remote I’ll confidently say that they don’t exist.

They don't, or atleast the ones friends of mine have had in their contracts didnt....it was a very simple promotion = xyz % raise and relegation = xyz % decrease it wasn't league specific..... It was admittedly a few years ago and teams in league 1/2 so things could be different

    Why?
If it simply says ‘thou shalt have your salary cut by x% if thou gets relegated’ then that’s a double...or even treble relegation clause right there
If there’s one thing the owners seem good at it’s making sure contracts work best for them

I think it’s just as likely that the wording could be interpreted to mean that salary goes down every time you do, but players or agents wouldn’t have considered the second one a possibility within the life of their contract

We don’t know either way, but I bet there’s a few agents checking!

Does anyone really think Enob even contemplated the possibility of back to back relegations??!! It was only in December he was talking about our promotion push. Deluded, thick, twat (Enob, not anyone on here :emoticon-0105-wink:)

Hernandez facing a second drop in his salary would certainly focus his mind. if that is indeed the case.

Isn't he out of contract at the end of the season and therefore will be leaving?

    That’s what I do
Or do you mean you can’t see them at all and want the contents copying?
As a test...what do you see below on this tweet of a fine tiger tattoo? (It shows up on mine sort of like a photo of the whole tweet)
