Another defender we were after, Zanka. Never heard of him myself and don't know how much 52.5 million Kroner is in pounds.. http://mobil.bold.dk/fodbold/nyheder/avis-hull-boed-525-mio-kr-paa-zanka/
Southampton have signed former Juventus defender Martin Caceres on a deal until the end of the season
Beijing Guoan have offered £15m for Abel but we want £20m http://www.calciomercato.it/news/41...-offerta-ufficiale-allhull-per-hernandez.html Wouldn't surprise me if he left before their deadline on 28th Feb
Every club worldwide should operate to the same transfer deadline days set out by FIFA? If we sell Abel to China we can't replace him, unless it's a freebie without a club. Seems a totally **** rule to me.
But not all teams play at the same time as we do. Presumably FIFA allowed China's transfer window in the first place. It's the same as us signing a player from Norway in Summer.
The observant amongst us also know his Christian name is Yannis, he's 26 and his current club is Guingamp.
Berbatov still looking for a club, I would take him, great finisher although I appreciate MS likes speedy players, I think he could do a job from the bench
I'd love us to have Berbatov on the bench, he may be 36, but he's technically brilliant and never had any pace anyway. West Ham are currently favourites to sign him.
As would I, he's got to offer more than Dio does in terms of finishing and a deal until the end of the season would be in both parties interest.
He's one of those players(Berbatov) who has a decent conversion ratio. May be able to rat out a few critical goals for whatever club he signs for.
I think that's a very good point. Who would you rather have to come off the bench, Diomande or Berbatov?
1 in every 2.3 career. Last season with PAOK 4 in 17, although I don't have the stats, I presume there would be a few substitute performances in there.
