I would say they are struggling to get these players they have been after. Seems we are bottom of the pecking order. same old same every season
I don't think we are a destination of choice and that's probably why we tend to end up with fringe players and frankly I can't see us really strengthening our squad to make a challenge. Whatever happens I'm sure it will get some discussions on this site and it will be an interesting time on all fronts. As a side note during the Sheff Utd vs West Ham match they said that Billy Sharp would possibly be leaving, due to his lack of match time, and his possible destination could be a Championship challenger. Any takers on this one although Leeds look to be favourite.
Burnley hold talks with Bristol City over £7m deal for Josh Brownhill - report https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/burnley-hold-talks-bristol-city-3731126
£7m seems a bit low, I hope there are some significant add-ons if that is the case. It could well be him and Eliasson off to Burnley, pretty sure Cris Wood would be clapping his hands at the type of balls Eliasson would put in for him.
If this comes off, LJ hasn't half produced some big sale fees as his time as our manager, more than any manager in our history, and by a country mile as well!!! I'm just saying...........
Disappointed if he does go but then perhaps that’ll mean Walsh and Morrell will be able to step up and take his place
If he was to go for a good price it might have the domino effect, you know, one definite move and 4 others slot into place, we have just got to made sure it is to our benefit, could be good.
£7 million is far to low to go to a prem club that has an established time up there has the money and will be fighting relegation along with 6 of the other 7 for 2 places Norwich looks doomed already! so far it looks like we make money from our players going up to the Prem and they benefit from 1 season up there .. webster could be next!...…. I would put at least a 1 in front of the 7

Bristol City linked with £500,000 Scottish international along with Wigan Athletic and Swansea City https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport...s/bristol-city-linked-500000-scottish-3730909
If indeed Josh should move on a sum of half a million for this player seems to be light in overall terms but can he add to the squad's performances, or will he become a fringe player? At least he has international experience but will that be enough to garner a regular spot on the roster? Frankly I know nothing about him but I hope he sees this as an opportunity to shine in a division that I rate as higher the the Scottish Premier League.
Bristol City, Leeds United, Swansea City: Every completed transfer deal in the Championship so far https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/bristol-city-leeds-united-swansea-3732670
Aston Villa and Norwich City are competing with Bristol City to sign 20-year-old striker Eddie Nketiah on loan from Arsenal. https://www.football.london/arsenal-fc/news/bristol-city-eddie-nketiah-concession-17555192 I suspect that we may be second if not third in this race now.
Did any of you notice the supposed reason why he did not come to us earlier? Apparently we were not considered suitable due to our dismal lack of scoring chances which was considered to be a stumbling block in the man's future development because he needs good service. Question 1. Why did he not get the chance at Leeds? Question 2. What has changed at Ashton Gate to get him now? There something not quite right with this possible signing scenario and I feel we are getting the short end of the stick when it comes down to the bare bones.
Eliasson has the most assists in the division, might be a good reason to reconsider, especially when you look at his assist to minutes played ratio.
The city going down the pecking order apparently Wigan and us after Scott Hogan. seems to me the 1-2. Windows in front is codswallop setting our sites on the left overs me thinks.
