So, after that uncharacteristic dash of deadline day incomings, we've got the following 30-man squad: GK: Holy, Cornell RB: Matheson, KVY CB: Chambers, Woolf, McGuinness, Wilson, Nsiala LB: Ward, Kenlock CM: Dozzell, Downes, Bishop, Harrop, Nolan, Huws, Skuse RW: Thomas, Judge, Lankester, Dobra LW: Edwards, Bennetts, Sears ST: Norwood, Parrott, Jackson, Drinan, Hawkins Does this remind anyone of the last days of Jewell? A bloated team, a glut of loan signings that look good on paper, some obvious signs of quality in there, a fair amount of deadwood, and a manager who does not look capable of getting the best out a squad that should be doing better than it is. Our terrible injury record, a sign of wider problems within the club, does not help. But I believe we've got a squad depth that many other clubs in this division would love to have! While I appreciate the additions over the last week or so - as we definitely needed something different to push this team to better levels of performance - six loanees and Academy talent pushed down the pecking order breaks the 'five point plan' Evans touted a few years ago. What is the strategy at this club? Where is the leadership?
