It would be unforgivable not to get him re-signed..... https://www.getwestlondon.co.uk/spo.../jack-robinson-confirms-qpr-contract-14265578 More important to keep Robinson than any of the others (Smithies included) if you ask me.
Totally but loyalty is not a common thing in football. I' sure someone will offer double his salary for his services and then it' a no brainer for him.
Least he can do in loyalty is re-sign. Then if someone does come in a with a good offer then we get some money for the barren years we looked after him. If he doesn't resign, then he walks away a free agent. We get diddly squit. Come on Robbo, regardless of happens in the summer, sign now ( I am sure some sort of agreement can be "understood")
Football players are the same as anyone else, someone comes in and offers a signing bonus and doubles your salary then you go..
Overall in our position it was a sensible window imo Too many players I hope this continues until we start real growth ourselves which I believe we will Retain our championship status for next 5 seasons is fine for me
Don't know if I totally agree with you there Beth. I wouldn't class him as or any player who left us for a better offer as disloyal. Do we have a wage restriction of 20g?? Plenty of clubs at our level could offer %50 more or even double. Would be a fool not to take it.
Probably on a lot more than £20k at the moment, he was one of Kneecaps/Beards signings when we had cash in the Premier League..........
Would agree more important to keep Robbo than Smithies. Smithies will attract a decent transfer fee and we've got Ingram stagnating on the bench. Robinson one of the few highlights this season.
A hat trick for Cheltenham’s Mohammed Eisa against Port Vale today. Sounds like we should invest in him before there’s interest from others.
Not directly current transfer news, but this epitomizes Redcrapp's ability https://www.101greatgoals.com/news/social/qpr-sign-tottenham-harry-kane-bbc/
