Which striker would you most like to see in January signing for us?

Or would you choose the bottom option and stick with Carroll.

I think Carroll needs time and that we don't have it Suarez Uraguay partner would make sense but they are still in the CL so he would cost.

Carroll needs time but we're short of an attacking poacher upfront, bring in any of the following and I'll be happy:
(All the players listed by Lucaaas bar Soldado)
    Sturridge
    Abel Hernandez
    Luuk de Jong
    Doumbia
    Welliton
    Moussa Sow
    Demba Cisse
    Demba Ba

Don't know many of them Jatt. Sturridge is someone that I have admired for a while, there is no chance of us getting him.

Carroll has had time. It's not like he's even show glimpses of promise so far! We need a nimble striker with pace and skill in the box.

My Nan isn't on the list and she'd score goals better than that shower...and she passed away ten years ago god rest her soul.

Any of the above except the last option (not that its all his fault)

People are saying Carroll hasnt had a run of games,rubbish..You get a run of games by performing when you get the odd start,or when you come off the bench, like Bellamy

Carroll hasnt done enough to merit a run of games ,Bellamy has but doesnt get them cos he DIDNT cost £35m

Bellamy can't play games in a row as he will get injured, he didn't even train every week with Cardiff. Liverpool are managing him well as a run of games will result in a lengthy spell out. This is probably why we need a new striker in January.

I'd sell Carroll, even if we had to accept less than half we paid for him. Time to accept that we got ripped off, not just with the price but also we the player we bought. Its been a year and its becoming clear Carroll isnt the player we thought we were buying nor is he showing the signs of becoming it.
English football in general would do well to get rid of the idea of a 'Big Old fashioned Enlgish Centre Forward'. The Modern game has moved on, you need a player who is capable of doing more than being a lump.

Cavani would be my dream signing this January/Summer, but it's highly unlikely. Podolski would be my realistic signing if the owners can stump up the money for him but not sure they will if Kenny isn't getting the results, especially with how bad some of his previous signings are turning out. I'd have Crouch back in a heartbeat over Carroll right now...such an underrated player who is skillfull enough to combine with Suarez and threatening enough aerially to profit from crosses/set pieces. Don't really see it happening though.

ffs listen.i have always said we need a strike partnership like owen/fowler,rush/fowler.etc etc,we need a striker who is going to score 20 plus goals a season ie pavlechenko or dembja ba.
listen we will never get anywhere unless we get a top class striker.end off its a fact.why cant you guys see it?

    Not sure about Pavlyuchenko...

He is now 30 and his stats suggest that he isn't a 20 goal a season striker. Can't see him solving our issues to be honest.

    <ok>
