Just saw this. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-coventry-warwickshire-37437403 Nice touch, Coventry City Council. If our long-delayed ground development ever actually happens, I'd love to see the Riverside Stand renamed in Jimmy's honour. The only trouble is that it would have the same initials as the Johnny Haynes stand, which I suppose could cause some administrative problems.
Amazing tribute. The whole community clearly appreciate his contibutions to the full. Our efforts have been paltry in comparison, even back in the day. please log in to view this image
JH pulled us together in our hour of need. A statue on the plinth that Jackson once had would be a great gesture.
Think that plinth is ear marked for George Cohen rosc, at least short term until the new stand is built. The plan was to unveil George's statue on 1st October, before the QPR game. Only just over a week away and as ever our Communications Department is silent - thought we might have had the usual drip-feed build up by now, but nope.
My mistake, so what about the other corner., agreed us supporters do seem to be treated with the mushroom cultivation system
