Who would you prefer out of RLC or Barkley? Only two years between the two.

RLC for me. Not sure about Barkley tbh, overrated imo.

Out of the two i know all the chelsea boys here have a hard on for RLC whereas i'm not a big fan lol.

I'd go for barkley personally, i think RLC lacks that finesse and is too raw. He's like a battering ram imo when he plays rather than someone to play a clever sneaky pass.

Think Barkley has more in his locker if he was so greedy

In terms of what geez? Barkley done more than RLC at 20 years old, he's had bad injuries since then so is more of a risk though imo.

I don't know if there is much between them, hard to pick, RLC (despite idiotic opposition fans opinions)was our only spark against Belgium in the dead rubber game, but was isolated and his end product was poor. I'm not sure if we could afford to risk putting im out on loan again though, he's and England international now. Would be good if they both turned a corner as they are british and home grown.

you are free to your own opinion. We lack physicality and people who can unlock a defence and pass it around quickly (fab only satisfies passing it around quickly).

I don't think RLC gives you that, he's creative in the sense he can hold it and potentially drive past players but i don't think we lack that. Willian and hazard do that too much already. What we need imo are players who can one touch play it off and move into space

What opinion? I'm saying I'm not sure on either of them. Pretty much agree with ya. We do need someone who can pop it off and play between the lines as we have kante and jorgino now who are more destroyers.

you think there is not much between RLC and Barkley. Anyway, will be interesting in who Sarri picks.

    I
just like the physicality that RLC gives us. I rate him as a better player too.

Yeah one thing you will discover very quickly on here is that StanDman is a tool who has no clue what he is talking about half the time. <ok>

I dont rate Barkley much....and I dont think RLC has much of a future at Chelsea either to be honest.
Who knows though, Sarri may be the guy to bring out the best in RLC, but I wouldn't hold my breathe.

Barkley has not "made it" to the levels of his early potential, for whatever reason. RLC has shown potential as well, and in my opinion is the one I would expect to turn out the better. If Barkley is not sold, maybe Sarri will have to use him somehow and he just might turn out a success. On the other hand, RLC is more likely to move as he won't want another loan or sit on the bench. Throw in Drinkwater and Bakayoko and you get an idea how dopey our recruiting was last season.

Thats actually what I meant when I said he has no future with Chelsea.
Not so much due to a lack of ability, more because of a lack of opportunity.
There are at least 2 people ahead of him in the current squads pecking order, and if RLC holds any hopes of making Englands Squad for the Euros in 2020, then he cannot be a bench warmer, and I think he is probably done with the perpetual loan thing.

Agree, our recruitment was a joke.

But that was last season, let's live in the moment and enjoy this one

Signing Gonzo for Alvaro will be an absolute joke worse than Sheva, Square, Nando & few other put together.

Alvaro & Baka are our future!!
Alvaro > Romelu any given day.

Baka aint the future of **** unless he is a million times better next season than he was last season.
I think Morata may well have a second wind under Sarri though, he seems the kind of striker Sarri likes.
    We will see.

Dont know who Gonzo or Square are so cannot comment on that.
