Gooner in peace. no one is shocked that Jose gets sacked, as it’s what he does everywhere he goes, but shocked that Levy choose to do so ahead of the final. who is likely to come in permanently
Nagelsmann is rumoured to be our primary target and that's who most of the fans want too but with Bayern in need of a new manager it's hard to see us beating them should they go for Nagelsmann. Rodgers' name crops up too, not sure he'd leave Leicester right now but could be wrong. I'd personally want Nagelsmann but if we can't get him I have a little obsession with Graham Potter, think with the right tools and better resources, he could be a top, top manager.
Lets declare the owners of the 6 as not fit and proper and just take the 6 into public ownership then set up a constitution where the fans own 51% and start from there. Bombshells need a Bombshell reply. Failing that, Bundesliga here I come where is my yellow shirt.
German clubs are 51% owned by fans to prevent stupid **** owners making stupid **** decisions like the SL. Tbh the timing of this announcement is to **** off the CL new format announcement which no one will care about.
I would love it if we could follow the Bundesliga format and would pay up gladly to have a say and share of how my club was run
The only reason that lot would want to get involved was if they were to lose money and not be able to get their noses in the trough
Notable so far the complete radio silence from players (AFAIK) on Jose’s departure, compared to the communications when Poch left.
I wouldn't be surprised if Kane wishes him well at some point, he's the one player that Jose improved - and the only player that didn't need improving . IIRC there was a delayed response from some once Poch was sacked, a few didn't post til the morning after. But there won't be anywhere near as many "goodbyes" for him as there were Poch though, that's for sure.
Just saying... But no, we wanted that moppet-topped bumblefuck because he looked daft when hosting HIGNFY
My choice is Scott Parker. Did a good job with our youth, knows the players and set up. Can bring Joachim Andersen.
Generally, we've done better with coaches who don't come with lots of baggage and especially well from coaches already at the club - Bill Nick, Keithy and BMJ. Big ticket appointments like Mourinho, Bloke in the Coat, Ramos, etc. have been very poor. Parker's worked at Spurs and has done pretty well for Fulham...so, I'd rather him than a fair few others but...I'm with DH, Potter impresses me...and has a whiff of Poch about him.
Depends how old John Terry, Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba were when they were backseating various Chelsea managers
