This is really good news. Really good.

WE can all read what the Leeds fans have to say, but if he's that bad why would they have entered into contract negotiations with him.

    Brilliant. Well done KM.

I'm impressed that we've landed him on a free transfer. From what I've heard he has his off-days but on a good day he is great and is the kind of player we need. I also like his comments on the manager, although as it's Sky I'll take it with a pinch of salt.

I've just read this on the Leeds site.

'mostly just plays the easy sideways pass. He's small, weak, slow, doesn't provide anything in defence. He can't cope in a midfield 2, and in attack doesn't offer much either. He's scored like 5 goals in 4 years at Leeds. An average League One player'

    We've signed Lee Johnson.

Why don't you give the lad a chance before slagging him off Redprintt? There's two threads on Kilkenny now, can't you just stick to one of them (the other one) before turning both of them into your LJ diatribes?

Getting back on track I'm happy about this signing, we've beaten off competition to get him here (Burnley and Hull), Leeds wanted to keep him so there's 3. He played almost every game for Leeds last season, he's an Australian International and apparently he's got a gob on him which we've been lacking. Could become a fans favourite but time will tell I suppose. He's also said that once he talked to Millen and learned of the clubs plans he wanted to be here, so fairplay to Millen.

In a bizarre sort of weird thing - a bit like the Nazi-Soviet pact of the 1940s, I actually agree with Redprintt here.....

Of course, as with all city players I start by saying 'Welcome and good luck', but:

Me: We already have one LJ who I like, why do we need another?
RP: We already have one LJ who I hate, why do we need another?

We shall see - I hope he does well for us of course.

    Oh my days...

Give the guy a chance to play before the LJ comparisons begin, surely..

Good signing IMO, will be interesting to see how he fits into the team.

    Hear Hear.

    Happy with this signing.

Must have something that LJ doesnt possess, otherwise surely Milly would have just stuck with the player who struggled to get into the team last season and is obviously seen as surplus to requirements, also one has to bear in mind that Leeds were in contract negotiations with Kilkenny and Hull would have liked to have been, Forest were rumoured to be interested, as were burnley.

I wonder how many were in for LJ! ( maybe a score similar to Norways average i the Eurovision Song Contest me thinks) Mmmmmmmm.

Looking at Millens signings since he's been manager it's pretty good, so If milly sees something in Kilkenny I'll go with that.

The least he deserves is a chance.

I hate being negative, but this signing is not floating my boat just yet.

Tis only fair I actually see him in action first though, so well done milly lets hope he is a good un!

I know what you mean banksy, the proofs in the pudding as they say. Can't wait to see him in action, a couple more signings and it won't be long before the first 'I think we'll make the playoffs' type post. Might even be from me!

I will say I am notorious for getting the feeling of our signings completely wrong so Kilkenny will probably be a gem.
