When you shoot someone 30 or 40 times, do dont shoot to disable them.

 

Nope. Twice. May have been 34 shots, but only 2 hit him. Thank God no kids were out on their bikes or playing in their gardens. No doubt the reckless driver would have got the blame for that too.

US cops are only allowed to shoot if their lives are in danger, as a last resort. They used the last resort first - shockingly badly - but successfully got their kill. Disproportionate doesn't begin to describe it.

Note that it is the police who do the internal investigations, just like over here. Members of the 'thin blue line' investigating members of the thin blue line. It's a bit like convicts being judge & jury in a trial. Kinda obvious outcome. Funny that, eh?
