John Henry and his board members know something we don'k know.Keeping their cards close to their chests. Whichever way, it's good.

Great - let's see what he can build knowing he has the time.

Tough job, though - with so many heavyweight managers in the Prem now.

6 years when the average lifespan of a PL manager (when calculated minus Wenger) is 22 months.

A big gamble unless there's some performance related clauses in the deal that allow for a termination without paying up the deal in full.

**** decision. Love Klopp but he's only been here two minutes and already had a contract.

Contract clause making him top earner? How much is Mane on? :bandit:

It's good for stability and here, let's face it we aren't attracting better than him if he doesn't manage to turn us around.

Not fussed about his contract to be honest. As long as he's at work today I couldn't give a ****.

I'm pretty sure its meaningless to FSG as they don't plan to be around to sack him.

frankly however its also in line with how long he stayed at mainz and dortmund.

I also think they were worried about someone else snaffling him up personally. I just seems one of those that they have the guy with the rep on 2 years left with option for one more and said hmmm..

I also don't think klopp will stay himself as that long is too long... but would you say no? course not.

I agree the average prem manager who doesn't like win something every year only needs a poorish run of 5/10 games and they are gone and that average of 22months sounds actually long

David Moyes was at Everton (2002–2013) that was eleven years. Some players have five years contract. I cannot see why managers
    cannot have the same?.

Is Wenger not a PL manager then? Or is the point not strong enough with him included?
