The Spanish top-flight have agreed a deal with Relevant to play league matches in the US. This could start as early as this season and full details are still unavailable. ****ing disgraceful. When they try to bring this to the Premier League it needs to get the swift kicking it deserves. It's a matter of time and the company involved has already been getting it's fingers sticky. They ran the International Champions Cup which lots of sides were involved in this summer, for example.
Probably not that, actually. Burnley are playing in Europe tonight and nobody's showing it. BT said there was no interest. Ouch.
I doubt it. There are some passionate fans of Spanish teams, but I don't think there's the collective voice that British fans have. If this is ever mooted for the PL, then we all need to ****ing riot about it.
The officials at La Liga need shooting. "Growing soccer's popularity in North America" - immediately shows how ****ing dumb these Americans are... It's football, you ****.
by match the US world cup was the most attended in history. The NFL plays games in London (though not if Spurs have anything to do about it). The premier league is a global product and America is where the most money is and has the best chance for future growth due to it's low interest, proper competitive games played their will only increase it's popularity. that said, spend your money promoting your own leagues you ****ing twat Septics.
Don't see the big deal personally. By getting soccer popular in America it will just increase TV revenues for the PL teams so they can offer the better players more money to come here, which is only a good thing. We can all dream that one day the GOAT Sergio Ramos might grace the PL
https://www.independent.co.uk/sport...ts-january-27-hard-rock-stadium-a8522951.html Girona v Barca will be played in Miami in January. Girona apparently offering to fly out 1500 STH's for free.
If they don't sing "La Liga in America" to the tune of Living in America then the whole trip has been wasted
