We go again! The winner of Season 1 was Mustyfrog who managed to make some good picks in the lower leagues. For those who doesn't know how this works (read 5+6 even you entered Season 1) 1: Each week the eligble fixtures will be posted by me in this thread. 2: You make one main pick and one back up pick (back up must be from Premier League and comes to effect in case your main pick is postponed/cancelled) 3: If you for example pick Man City in week 1. You can't choose them again. 4: If your pick wins their game you're through to the next week. If they draw or lose, you are out (unless below) 5: New for this season is the lifeline. Every week you also (along with your pick) predict the score in City's game, for example 2-1 (not if it'll be a win, draw or loss) If your pick doesn't win, BUT you manage to predict the correct score, you're rescued. This is only possible ONCE during the season. 6: Maximum number of picks for 1 team per week may change. No more than 3 may pick the same team in week 1. Example of how your selection could look Main: Southend Back up: Aston Villa Lifeline: City-Wigan 2-1 There'll be a prize to the winner unless he/she doesn't want one. WEEK 1 - Deadline - Before Derby v Cardiff kicks off
See point 4 Febbos - think the bit I highlighted should read "if they draw or lose" . Don't mean to meddle
Good question. This is in case your main pick gets postponed/cancelled (which is more likely to happen in a couple of months)
