The Chairboys are off to Wembley to play their rivals from up the M40 with a place in the Championship the prize for the lucky winner, who would have thought it before the start of the season when we were 3/1 for relegation and 15/1 for promotion. Five years after our last visit to the national stadium we are back but with two big differences namely we are playing for a bigger prize but without the help of 25000 or so Chairboys fans. Gaz will be hoping that after a weeks rest the lads are refreshed and firing on all cylinders and after netting 6 times in the semi with our forwards getting 4 of them the lads should be full of confidence. We are all going to be glued to the TV on Monday evening so send the misses to the kitchen and get the beers stocked up and try to enjoy what is likely to be a rollercoaster of a ride full of emotion and hopefully tears of joy COME ON YOU BLUES
The League One play-off final between Wycombe and Oxford is live on Sky Sports Football from 7pm on Monday - Kick-off is at 7.30pm
When you think we put four past Fleetwood away from home, & wathching the Sheff U v Chelsea last night with about the same amount of possession as us & putting Chelsea to the sword. I would have thought the odds would be a bit closer. Might be worth a trip to the bookmakers tomorrow morning & having a tenner on.
My Wilkins cider has been ordered and arrives tomorrow morning I'm already feeling nervous so doubt i'll be able to eat tomorrow but at least the cider counts as one of my 5 a day.
Well Guy, I reckon you are either the couple in blue wigs, or you are the person waving the "Chairboys Since 1887" scarf.....
Fingers crossed you stuff Oxford tomorrow evening Guy, and wipe the smirk off of Karl Robinson's face
I can now tell you about the weird dream I had before that first leg It seemed that I arrived a Loakes Park and there was a scoreboard showing 1-2 Then from the bottom corner flag we got the ball along the goal line and scored from an acute angle. I looked up at the scoreboard and it showed the away team now winning 3-1 against Fleetwood. The rest of the dream was even more weird and I've forgotten the details now As it turned out we won 4-1 but it was close I'm hoping I can dream we beat Oxford tomorrow; even if I do get the score wrong
.. and Harry (grandson). 4 years ago. Just the one of those left. But there was also Bayo (who was sent off). Can't remember who else was there. Who does Pierre play for now?
