Where have I said I want him out?...please show my waffle on this.
I said we need to progress, which is the reason of LJ's departure, having kept us,competing in the championship for the past 4 seasons!!

I must say 1 thing the best thing I did today was KEEP A TENNER IN MY POCKET... probably keep the 3 in there as well .. Fammy well exasperation comes to mind ...not seen the fouls but he obviously feels it is time to leave.... as for DH well I was behind his getting the chance but maybe there is a spark missing!

Bristol City don’t have particularly strict wage control. Lee Johnson increased wages by at least 40% and under his tenure spending was consistently well past income, in one season City lost twenty four million pounds.

Under McInnes and O’driscoll there was strict control downwards, this was reversed for Cotterill and significantly reversed for Johnson who paid for instance loanees in Diony 20k a week, plus the added fees and paid a penalty clause to Liverpool for Kent, the loan of these two cost circa a million pounds.

With City’s wages now being at twenty million + (wage cap?) the club may see in the near future cost cutting, with players sold, or Mr Lansdown again injects cash as loan/turns debt into equity yet again. It is a long way from the sustainable club the FC spoke of when it entered into its five pillar stage.

Fair enough Cliftonville - I stand corrected on wages - Amazing about Diony being paid that amount - I assume that's the going rate for a short-term loanee, rather than an unusually high amount (ignoring the fact he was crap)

Loans are what the two clubs decide. It’s flexible via agreement. Tammy Abraham was paid a far smaller proportion of his wages by Bristol City than the proportion Villa paid. Abraham cost less weekly than Diony at Ashton Gate.

Incredible - I don't know whether to laugh or cry, so I'll laugh <laugh>
I don't know who to blame for that extraordinary waste of money; Tins (as loan manager), whoever scouted him, Mark Ashton for authorising and signing the paperwork, LJ for - well, just for being LJ - or SL for being ultimately the man in charge.
It begger's belief - we could have got a half decent player for than amount of money!

Tinnion would not have been involved in bringing the player in. He is involved in loans going out via the U23’s.

It was sometime later but we can believe or disbelieve a article in the Bristol Post a year or so ago that Brian Tinnion was unhappy about players being signed blocking the pathway to the XI.

See Sunderland won 3-0 yesterday - 3 points from the playoffs and a very healthy goal difference to boot.
Looks like Lee might take a team to the playoffs at last!
