25 minutes gone and I have to say, although we are causing problems in transition and on the counter, Leeds have looked well up for this. They’re winning a lot of second balls and getting a lot of joy out wide. They’re also really aggressive on closing us down when we get the ball and aren’t letting us turn, which is forcing us back.

Need to find a way of bypassing their press better.

1-0! Saka! What a finish too.

Hospital ball from Rodrigo, really unnecessary, then nice one-two between Saka and Odegaard, Odegaard’s perfectly weighted pass into Saka who smashes it high into the net.

Meslier probably should have done a bit better, though.

    HT. 0-1.

We grew into the game after the tepid opening 25 minutes and there’s certainly lots of space to be exploited, as Leeds are counterpressing very aggressively and lots of men forward. Need to be a bit more ruthless and decisive in the final third.

Let’s hope we can get a 2nd goal to give us some breathing space in the second half.

Penalty to Leeds which Bamford puts wide.

It shouldn’t have been given, as there was an offside in the build-up. No idea why that decision wasn’t overruled. But hey ho.

Now can we start playing football properly please? We’ve been absolutely woeful this second half. And tbh a Leeds goal would have been fully deserved.

That’s disgraceful that this wasn’t called for offside. Thankfully, Bamford missed the penalty.

If we win today, it will be a hugely fortuitous win. Not that I’ll care but man, this performance has been so bad. We don’t deserve anything. So, so sloppy and cumbersome.

Have to give credit to Leeds though, this is the first game this season where I can say we’ve been outplayed comprehensively. They’re really making this difficult for us.

FT. 0-1. Thank god for that. What a highly dramatic end to the game. My heart is thumping ffs <laugh>

Not a good performance at all and full credit to Leeds for outplaying us and doing everything but score.

One of those games where we have to just take the W and forget about the performance.

Leeds hadn’t lost at home all season, so this was never going to be an easy game. Huge victory for us.

That last minute penalty / red card was an insane call - It made no sense whatsoever to me.

thank goodness VAR recommended the ref take another look at it.

That was also our 4th clean sheet in 5 on the road in the league - very impressive. Need to start keeping clean sheets at The Emirates, as we haven't kept a clean sheet at home yet!

    That was stressful as hell!

We played like **** but... the best sides are capable of winning even when playing poorly.

The favourites City dropped points - 4pts ahead of them now. Now for another week of ' Are Arsena genuine title contenders?' from SkySports, BBC, Talksport etc..

Took 17 games last year to get as many points as we do right now.
