    Leeds Utd v Tottenham Hotspur
    Sunday 28th May@16:30 | Elland Road

The seven goal thriller at Anfield on the opening day of the 20/21 season will resonate in the minds of many as being a turning point in Leeds' recent fortunes. The Whites were finally back in the top flight (after a sixteen year hiatus), and were suddenly holding their own against one of Europe's elite. We may have lost that day, but we saw enough on display to allow us to dream that happier times lay ahead.

Three years on, and these dreams have turned to nightmares as Leeds resign themselves to relegation, barring a miracle. Earlier in the week, statisticians gave Leeds a 3% chance of survival, but that was before learning that both Patrick Bamford and Rodrigo were injured. The Leeds medical staff will try to patch up Rodrigo as best they can, one last time, but it's far from ideal. Either Rutter, Summerville or Gnonto may be forced to deputise in his absence.

Junior Firpo is available after suspension, and will battle it out with Pascal Struijk for the left back slot. Wober and Kristensen are Allardyce's preferred options at centre-back, with Koch and McKennie operating at the double pivot midfielders. Stuart Dallas, Luis Sinisterra and Tyler Adams remain sidelined.

With a chance of European football next season, Spurs will be desperate for the win. Fraser Forster will continue to deputise for Hugo Lloris’ between the sticks. Rodrigo Bentancur (knee), Ryan Sessegnon (thigh) and Eric Dier (groin) are rulled out whilst Cristian Romero and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg should return to action after missing the Brentford game through injury.

If Bamford's fit then our survival chances drop to 1%

I would like to see Harrison playing in a more central role, Summerville on the right, and Gnonto on the left.

I think it is best that Bamford misses this one, can you imagine if other results are going our way, then a guilt edged chance presents itself to him and he misses, the fallout on the poor lad would be unbearable. :(

Got a ticket at just after one today. I was just logging in and brother Eire informed me tickets were available. East stand upper not far off cheese wedge so will have a grandstand view. Half four kick off we see a ground full of people popped up no doubt. Could make for a very interesting game.

We will win but get relegated on goal difference and go down with Everton

The only good thing about this game, it can't ruin my Saturday

If we do go down then we should celebrate having had 3 seasons back in the big time and look forward to getting back again. It's just football and I'm sure the players have tried and Jesse, Javi and Sam will have given it their best shot as well. Not everyone in sport can be successful so if it's our time to return to the Championship then so be it, embrace it and move on as there's no need to be bitter.

However as we still have a chance of staying up then let's give it everything on Sunday and at least try to go down showing some fight and the right spirit.

Barndoor being injured is a bonus for us, but alas, I'm with Ristac and I see us getting relegated on goal difference.
I've resigned myself to the fact we need a miracle so it can't spoil my weekend if the inevitable happens

Not if we cripple them first. A good kicking will put them off.
