Earlier in the season, the Whites were heavily criticised for the maintenance of their pitch, and ended up buying a brand new one that Spurs had prepared for next season at a cost of £300,000. Since taking over the reigns in North London, Ryan Mason has recorded impressive back to back league wins over Southampton and Sheffield Utd, keeping their dream alive of a top four finish. They will be without Left-back Ben Davies who has a calf problem, Having lost to Brighton last weekend, Leeds have slipped a couple of places to 11th. A home win will see them leapfrog Villa and Arsenal back to 9th place (though Villa have a game in hand). Rodrigo should be fit to start if selected. The Spanish forward played the last half hour against Brighton, and 45 mins for the U23's during their emphatic 5-2 win over Burnley. Kelvin Phillips absence against the seagulls was a huge disappointment for the Whites. He received a knock on the back of his knee in training. It remains to be seen whether the England International is fit to start. Several reports are suggesting that Raphinha is fit to play on Saturday. We have missed the Brazilian's magic. Let's hope he can carve open the Spurs defence. Helder Costa is still on the treatment table, and is not expected to play.
If Alioski is left back Gareth Bale will have a field day and Son will also want to go have a look at him too. It could be carnage. Davies in at LB for me as he has the pace and would also play Koch alongside Phillips in front of Llorente and Cooper
I feared a bashing at City but it didn't happen, in fact one of our best performances of the season. I fear a bashing here as well, i do hope history is going to repeat itself C'MON LEEDS. Good afternoon all
Was thinking this over the weekend, if he can't get a game above an out of form Klich now, he's hardly likely to get a game with squad improvement next season. Like the lad and was hoping he'd get a few games before the seasons end but looking like a move to a top end Championship team could be on the cards.
Need to cut off the supply to Kane and Son, Koch and Phillips playing together would be a wise move imo
I’d love to see Summerville and Gelhardt given a start but it won’t happen. Time to say goodbye to Alioski he’s never been good enough in that position and with him set to join the Turkish team I just don’t see the point in picking him.
Put Leeds fan Colin Montgomerie in the spurs dressing room to keep bale talking about golf. Tell Kane he's been dropped from southbore's squad, should make him sulk for awhile. Tell son he has to immediately report back to South Korea for another spell at national service. There that is the 3 dangermen out of the picture
I said that weeks ago. If he’s leaving then it’s time to see if anyone can step up and save a few million in the transfer market. It’s a wasted opportunity imo.
Would like to think that Rodrigo and Davies were brought off at half time the other day so they could be sharp for Spurs. I really dont see the point of Alioski at LB against top wingers
That's what I call short and sweet.....and unfortunately probably right, quite like Shackleton personally
Tell the Spurs coach driver to take the scenic route through Bermondsey, and nip out to the cash point leaving the keys in the ignition....
Is there a cut off age for the youngsters coming through the U23s, an age where they or the club think they won’t make the first team? As the old saying goes, if you’re good enough you’re old enough. When do the club decide that they’re no longer a prospect and move them on?
