Leicester’s title winning season

Why are there so many bitter people on here, I wanted them to win the league in the 15/16 season, I wanted someone different to win it for a change.

 

Most wanted them to win it but we're over it now.

 

Same here, I wanted them to win it and not Arsenal.

 

It's history now, move on.

... and don't forget Spurs ... admittedly some of them would rather finish top 4 every year rather than actually winning anything ...

 

It must be all of 5 minutes since I last saw it mentioned on here,

Being a Leicester fan who saw them win the thing must be like a teen boy band member, who have a number 1 when they’re 17, and then are a washed up has been by 21. Their entire lives will be an anti climax as they peaked at 17....

Leicester fans know that their club will never repeat that feat in their lifetimes....


Oh well.

 

All true buddy ... for the younger fans ... certainly never expected to see it in my lifetime ... extended stay in the EPL and a good cup run was what the vast majority hoped for.

That expectation has changed a bit due to the continuing investing of our owners - £80 million state of the art training facility at Loughborough in final planning stages plus stadium expansion too... top 10 for the next few years will be the plan ... and that's probably achievable

I think you've been sticky enough over this subject pal.

 

Doesn’t mean we’d change it. I’m still just as interested in every game as I was. I’m gutted we have thrown away 7th and will be pissed off if we end up any lower than we are. Better to have achieved what we did than forever be wondering what it’s ljke....

 

And yet 7th would be your 2nd highest ever PL finish and would be the best you’d managed in the top flight for over 50 years apart from your win......so you’ve sort of proved my point like...

 

I wasn’t sure what your point was apart from seeming like you were having a dig. But you’ve also proved mine by pointing that out. It was a dream season, very few teams and fans will know the feeling but finishing 7th/8th etc is not a disappointment and it’s not like our fans will be forever disappointed if we don’t win the league or finish top 4 regularly
