An abysmal display.

 

I wrote before the start that l hoped, whatever the result, we did not embarrass ourselves by putting in a substandard performance.

My hope was not realised.

 

Well that was very disappointing. So these players get a few opportunities to make a cup final. Not sure they all left it out there. Not one shot on target. Where was the pressing from the first quarter of the season. Very poor, very disappointing. Played with the handbrake on, is that Ralph or the legacy of Puel and Pellegrino

So pissed off after that. If we would have played the full 90 the way we did after conceding we would have won.

It comes down to a combination of lack of belief and ability but sadly we wont have the funds to replace the ****.

 

Losing has become a habit. The players just look like they want the season to end. Every other team near the bottom appear to care about the result. Saints are just apathetic. Only Armstrong appeared to break sweat.

 

So people putting there views across is whining ?

 

I think most of the fans lacked belief, why cant the players?

 

So the ref not sending off a Leicester player and booking at least 3 of their players in the first half had nothing to to with the result???

Leicester did nowhere near to deserve to win that.

But they did far more than we did.

Probably the worst thing is that it didn't even surprise me. I know some tried to find an excuse for Monday, but not me. Monday was never just about Monday. Today has been on the cards for months.

 

Listening to it, it sounded like a Pellegrino performance. “Difficult moments” and “Interesting possibilities”.
At least Puel got us to a final. Where was Shane Long?

Yeah, I would have forgiven the performance on Monday had we played well today but for a semi-final that was ****ing dogshite. We had a 5 minute spell after we conceded where we we looked kind of threatening and then that was it. There was no urgency at all. It looked they just gave up. Pitiful and pathetic today. Can't defend it. Leicester didn't have to get out of 2nd gear for ****s sake.

 

That was a spineless performance. Such a great chance of making a final as Leicester were there for the taking but the majority of them didn't really want to know

 

Nope. He could have sent off 3 Leicester players and they still would have won.
